CE Marking Malaysia

CE Marking support for Malaysian manufacturers and exporters

Practical, technically grounded support to help your products meet European Union requirements before entering the EU market.

The basics

What is CE Marking?

CE Marking indicates that a product has been assessed against the applicable EU requirements for safety, health and environmental protection. It is required for many product categories sold in the European Economic Area.

By affixing the CE mark, the manufacturer declares that the product conforms with all applicable EU legislation. Depending on the product, this may involve self-assessment or the involvement of a Notified Body.

Who needs CE Marking?

Malaysian manufacturers, exporters and OEM suppliers placing products covered by EU harmonisation legislation on the European market — directly or through European distributors and customers.
